This GPS mount has the built-in GPS antenna for your 312GW, 212G, 312G, 412GW, 512GW, 612GW and the Duo HD camera. although all those cameras have GPS software without the GPS mount they are unable to connect to the GPS satellites. Selling brand new for around £65, this mount is a must have for all series 1 Nextbase Dash Camera owners. Mount also fits the 212 Lite (212 LTE) and the 112 camera although those models do not have GPS software the mount is still compatible.
Mount has an additional charge port so you can keep your hardwire kit or 12V cigarette lighter mini-USB charger plugged constantly to your mount and the other end to the vehicle ready for powering on with ignition. Rather than connecting and disconnecting the wire or hardwire kit from the camera each time you remove the camera from view at night, the power cables can be permanently plugged easily into the mount so the Dash Cam receives power the moment it is slid onto the magnetic mount connection pins.
Refurbished magnetic GPS mount cleaned and tested with adjustable ball joint and brand new 3M adhesive sticky pad for the windscreen (please ensure the glass is grease and dirt free before applying the sticky pad). Also ensure the correct positioning of the mount before removing the backing for the adhesive pad, as once connected these are not easy to remove and will stay in place during the bumpiest of journeys. Many owners find their dash cam falls and gets damaged from using the suction cup mount, unlike the suction cup mount, this is not placement adjustable, it does have a swivel ball joint head for minor angle and positioning changes, but is a much stronger seal with the windscreen than the suction cup version.
This mount also comes without 'GPS' wrote on the front of the magnetic connector, the non-GPS mount will work with all the same models listed below, but will not have the antenna needed to connect to GPS satellites, so the GPs feature, which shows where your journey started, ended and the exact road and place on the road to within a few feet an accident took place. If recording your whole journey with GPs the video will show each road name as you drive along and also the time you was on that particular road.
