These machines have an auto boot feature which must be disabled before any work is carried out on the machine. By default this feature is disabled on all logic boards before they are stripped and will need to be re-enabled once fitted to a machine.
The Touch ID function is linked to the main logic board therefore the Touch ID and power button are sold with the logic board.
This is a highly static-sensitive board and replacement should only be attempted by trained technicians. DO NOT remove the heat sink from the logic board, this will void any warranty given.
