**This is a grade 'C' camera unit and will have some cosmetic marks, or scratches from previous use, some of the grade 'C' Dash Cameras will have a small crack in the clear plastic screen cover OR one of the two silver badges on the front of the camera may have come away from the camera case and would have ben reattached or stuck back down with adhesive. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the working condition of the camera. Backup batteries, are exactly that, they are used if the ignition fails during an accident to continue recording for a few minutes when the vehicles ignition switches off. The camera even without a backup battery will power on with the ignition and power off when the ignition is turned off so the cameras do fully work without a backup battery on mains only.
