Apple use many different SSD connections, different sizes, wider, shorter, thinner and longer solid state drives in other Macbook Pros, Macbook Airs and iMacs. CAREFUL! Not all Apple Macbooks or Apple Computers that require an SSD blade board use this same connection and shape or length SSD**

If unsure if this part is compatible with your system please check original part number above to see if your old drive is identical. DO NOT just go by the Macbook/iMac model and year (although your model and year may be stated above there are exceptions to the general rule this is Apple after all and compatibility can be very misleading. Check with seller for correct compatibility, if at all you are unsure. All parts are security etched DO NOT use our parts for testing/diagnostic purposes as refunds will not be given. Once fitted and drive has been taken out of its security sealed packaging, returns are NOT accepted, only under the given warranty for an exchange part if found to have failed during this period.

We operate a fitting service at our Birmingham based repair centre and can arrange collection and return of your system anywhere in the UK (additional fees apply).  A 25% restocking fee for parts ordered in error (must be returned sealed and unopened), so please check with us before assuming this part works with your system. Returns not accepted if seal is broken, it is then assumed item has been fitted and used. Internal components are easily damaged with static electricity and also damaged during installation. Please have fitted by a qualified and experienced Apple technician. Can be used as part of an Apple Fusion system in the iMac A1418/A1419 using a hard drive or another SSD as the second drive in the Apple Fusion RAID setup (please ask for further details if unfamiliar with a fusion system). Our repair centre can create this and clone your old system to the new Fusion setup or SSD if required (Prices on request).
